We all have a sense of purpose but sometimes the mundane things in life obscure it. The feeling of purpose is lost for a while and we settle for whatever comes our way. It is important to know what matters most to us and what gives us a real sense of purpose in life.
Some of what gives me a true sense of purpose are my family, my Christian faith and helping people develop ideas and multiple income streams from what they love/their passion. I derive so much joy from helping others find their purpose through the simple processes of life.
Here are some thoughts that will help you consider what your true purpose might be:
- What gets you up in the morning?
- What role will enable you to use your dominant strengths regularly?
- What gives your life meaning and purpose?
- Are you maximising your talents in what you currently do?
- Will your current vocation lead you to accomplish your life goals?
The Purpose of a Washing Machine
The washing machine is designed to wash clothes and make them clean. The mechanism seems simple – it sloshes your clothes about in dissolved detergent and spins fast to remove the water afterwards. There is more to meet the eye with a washing machine.
There are two drums in the washing machine. The inner one is where we load our clothes and lined with lovely small holes that give water free access to slosh the clothes around. The outer drum, which you cannot see, is a critical component too; it is a watertight drum, which allows the inner to do as it wills without leakages.
There are other elements of the washing machine that enable it to carry out its regular functions are:
The thermostat checks the temperature of the incoming water.
The heating element heats up the water to the required temperature.
The electrical pump removes water from the drum when the wash is over.
The mechanical control mechanism is called a programmer and controls the steps of the wash cycle.
All the components of the washing machine enable it to fulfil its purpose – wash your clothes as you desire.
